“MTV Cribs,” the cult TV hit that let us snoop inside celebs’ homes, is due to return in June—only this time, the show is getting a renovation. We all know it’s going to be tough to top Mariah Carey‘s crazy closet, but we have high hopes for the show. The new twist? Celebs will wield their own video cameras and post their unedited footage on Snapchat—the insanely popular now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t image-sharing social app hot with millennials.
As for whose homes we’ll get to peek into, the first three guests are reported to be rapper Mac Miller, YouTube star Austin Mahone, and singer Travis Mills. But who should be next?
We decided to take matters into our own hands and develop a (highly speculative) crib list. We bet that these stars would be totally into flaunting their digs—especially the ones that have been sitting around on the market. Who knows? Maybe their footage will catch the eye of some wealthy, die-hard buyer! So take notes, MTV, and heed these suggestions of homes that would serve as great “Cribs” fodder:
J. Lo
Jennifer Lopez‘s 17,129-square-foot mansion in Hidden Hills, CA, provides plenty of eye candy, including a poker room, massage parlor, salon, and professional recording and dance studios. And besides, who wouldn’t want a peek at her plush glam room and huge walk-in closet (and, hopefully, some of those Versace gowns)?
Purchased with then-husband Marc Anthony in 2010, the home went on the market in January 2015 for $17 million after their divorce, and the price has since dropped to $12.5 million. Which makes us wonder: Is something wrong with this place? A “Cribs” tour could certainly help suss that out—or dispel any doubts.

Basketball legend Michael Jordan has already invited the public into his 56,000-square-foot, nine-bedroom, 15-bathroom palace in Highland Park, IL—sort of. Anyone can view the estate, currently listed for just under $15 million, in a series of Hollywood-quality videos highlighting the home’s many amenities, including putting greens and pro-quality workout rooms. But how cool would it be to see MJ dunk on his own regulation-size basketball court? And we’d love to know just how many Nikes he has stashed in his walk-in closets.
