As I have mentioned earlier, Phnom Penh is undergoing significant changes- physical and population-wise. Consequently, the Cambodian government drew up a plan for its expansion. According to the plan, development will expand within a 100-kilometer radius into the suburbs and neighboring Kandal province.

Oknha Kang Sothy, CEO of Century 21 Cambodia, told the local media that the expansion of Phnom Penh would cut across some of the border provinces and push up land prices.
