Globetrotters who are accustomed to travelling in comfort and sporting matching styles can now revel in the fact that there is now a bespoke luggage brand to goes well with their luxury automobile.
Rolls-Royce has rolled out a six-piece luxury luggage set that costs USD46,000 – the equivalent of one or two new regular cards, DigitalTrends.com pointed out.
The exquisite set comprises two Grand Tourer valises, three Long Weekender bags and one spacious Garment Carrier that can hold a tuxedo or ladies gown . The leather pieces are made from carbon-fibre frames and are “meticulously” stitched by hand.
According to Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös, the new luggage collection “demonstrates our designers’ commitment to Sir Henry Royce’s manifesto, ‘Take the best that exists, and make it better. When it does not exist, design it.’”
The British carmaker’s trademark – the “RR” badge in the rims of the vehicle – also appears on the wheels on the “Grand Tourer” series of bags, per TheVerge.com.
