Phnom Penh Security Infrastructure to Increase
Governor Socheatvong confirmed that the Phnom Penh municipality will install 600 security cameras across the capital over the coming 6 months.
In addition, more than 69 hectares of gardens and trees will be entrusted to a private company, removing the responsibility of matainance from City Hall.
Phnom Penh Governor Socheatvong, through Facebook, pointed out that, in addition, the lights illuminating these public areas (more than 11,000 bulbs) will be switch to LED lights, and responsibility over this task and replacing all lights will likewise be entrusted to the private company.
