Ray Romano, star of the beloved sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond,” has sold a modest home in Woodland Hills, CA, for just a little over $1 million.

The 2,700-square-foot, single-story house was built in 1997 and is located in the gated community of Penfield Estates.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and a chef’s kitchen that opens to a family room and fireplace. Outside there’s a pool, waterfall, spa, fire pit, barbecue area, and covered patio that leads to the master suite.

The property hit the market in March with a $979,500 asking price. Romano also owns properties in the San Fernando Valley and Malibu, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Romano, who started as a standup comic, won three Emmys for his portrayal of the whiny and witty husband and father in “Everybody Loves Raymond,” which ran for nine seasons on CBS and was based loosely on his real family life. He co-starred in HBO’s “Vinyl” before the show’s untimely demise last week.
