This Week’s Most Expensive New Listing Is a Spectacular Beverly Hills Estate

When you’re paying nearly $30 million for a home, it must be spectacular. This week’s most expensive new listing on realtor.com® puts an emphatic check mark in the “spectacular” box.

Location? On top of Mulholland Drive, one of the most famous streets in the world. Parking for friends? Yep, a motor court with room for over 30 cars. A decadent pool feature? Of course, there’s a grotto to splash around in.

Those are just some of the highlights in the 10-bedroom mansion that planted its flag atop our list. Following closely behind it is a new oceanfront mansion in the O.C., an NFL coach’s immense compound in Colorado, an awesome ranch in Ventura County, and a cool NYC penthouse looking for a buyer after three years of bouncing on and off the market.

It features a home theater, spa, and chef’s kitchen, but we’re most enamored with the exercise room with windows overlooking the ocean.

Price: $22,000,000 ($682 per square foot)
Luxe factor: Need proof the NFL is big business? Look no further than the mansion of former Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan. Price: $20,000,000 ($4,011 per square foot)
Luxe factor: It’s back! This luxury penthouse unit in Tribeca’s Sterling Mason building initially went on the market in 2013. Three years later, the spacious four-bedroom with a killer rooftop deck is still looking for a buyer. And despite having 5,000 square feet spread over two levels of living space plus an additional 1,000 square feet outside, it’s not even among the 10 priciest listings in the 10013 ZIP code.
