A celebration of Asian architecture, interiors and product design
Oh, what a night
We do so love an awards show, and in a night of winners, this one was hard to top.
Legendary Hong Kong designer (and now restaurateur) Steve Leung took home the highly coveted Pinnacle Award at Perspective Limited’s annual A&D Trophy Awards 2016 on 9 November at the Hotel sáv in Kowloon.
The lifetime achievement award was bestowed on the Steve Leung Designers founder for his lengthy portfolio in architecture, interiors and product design. The design legend demonstrated “consistently high standards, innovation, original thought and all-round excellence” in his areas of expertise, according to Perspective’s board of directors and the editorial team.
Leung has been branching out to other interests in recent years, founding 11 restaurants that include local favourite 1957 & Co. “I had been doing architectural and interior design for decades, including hospitality projects, and I wanted to start some real lifestyle projects,” Leung told the South China Morning Post.
