The online real estate group hosts its final event of the year
No one can deny that the internet has taken over all our lives in a way that we could scarcely have predicted. We now spend vast amounts of our day in front of a screen for both professional and pleasure purposes.
Seamless connectivity has come to play a hugely important role, especially in residential and office buildings. And then there’s that much-hyped term – ‘The Internet of Things’ whereby all objects are connected and controlled by a single platform.
In order to stay relevant, developers have to stay on top of these advances. Our future homes will not only need to cater to our luxury tastes and infrastructure requirements, but will also need to have in-built connectivity, and be ‘smart.’
DDproperty.com, Thailand’s leading property listings portal, held its final seminar of the year on this very topic.

Developers and agents gathered at the Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit hotel in Bangkok on 29 November, to attend “BeSmart at Real Estate in Disruption Innovation Era.” Industry experts give their take on how technology will play its part in our homes and how digital content and platform trends are becoming more effective channels with which to reach consumers.
The opening keynote was given by Mr Summa Keetasin, director of information centre of the real estate association. He gave his prognosis for the outlook of Thai real estate in the year ahead and laid down trends and consumer behavior patterns to look out for.
The closing talk was given by Bruce Griffin, director of new business at Juwai.com, who spoke about investment from China.
