One of the most consistent shortstops to ever play the game of baseball hopes the sale of a New Jersey mansion is as routine as a slow ground ball up the middle.

Jimmy Rollins, who played for 17 seasons in the MLB, is parting with his home in Swedesboro, NJ—just a short jaunt over the Delaware River into Philly. Rollins purchased the home in 2005 during his sixth season with the Philadelphia Phillies and he’s selling it for the same price he paid: $799,000.

Given the features on this 2.58-acre property, it’ll be a steal for the next owner.  The mansion offers 5,292 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms.

According to listing agent Nancy Kowalik, the home is in pristine condition and has custom features throughout.

Nestled on a private cul-de-sac, the home features a brick facade and lush landscaping. Elegantly appointed architectural details throughout exemplify the care and attention that Rollins and his family have provided the home.

Kowalik says entertaining is easy with the open floor plan.The two-story foyer has marble flooring and a staircase. The eat-in kitchen boasts a large island, granite countertops, and cabinets with lighting.

The first-floor master suite features a tray ceiling, sitting space, and two walk-in closets. The master bath has double sinks, a large soaking tub, and a shower. The remaining bedrooms are on the second floor. The finished basement comes complete with entertaining space, game room, poker room, gym, bathroom, and storage space.

The backyard is one of the property’s best features. There’s a pool with waterfall, a hot tub, a patio with a built-in grill, and an oversize deck.

Rollins made the home his residence until 2015, when he left to play for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was the National League MVP in 2007 and helped guide the Phillies to a World Series title in 2008. He’s a three-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove award winner. Rollins retired in 2017 after an attempt to make the San Francisco Giants‘ roster out of Spring Training.
