‘Catwoman’ Jocelyn Wildenstein Slashes Price on Trump World Tower Unit
Socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein has relisted her giant apartment in New York City for $11 million. While the new price isn’t exactly a bargain, it is a steep discount from the $13 million she was asking just eight short months ago.
But with the property languishing on the market, the feline-featured Wildenstein—dubbed “Catwoman” for the look she achieved through her extensive plastic surgeries—gave her listing a face-lift of its own to go with the price cut.
With a new agent, Khashy Eyn of Platinum Properties, the property is now being presented as a blank canvas to be finished as the buyer desires.
As we reported earlier this year, Wildenstein hasn’t had much luck selling her five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home. So the strategy of showing its potential (the last time it was listed there were no interior photos) could help bring buyers in. The photos are computer renderings.
What’s being offered now is actually three gutted apartments, totaling more than 5,200 square feet, which are in the process of being combined. They “will be delivered in raw form ready for your architect and construction crew to create a custom residence,” notes the listing.
The property boasts multiple private elevators, a library, and stellar views of the East River and Manhattan’s skyline from three exposures. It takes up much of the building’s 51st floor.
The high-rise apartment is located in the Trump World Tower, which offers a 24/7 doorman, concierge service, private driveway, health club, and private wine cellar.
The Swiss-born socialite has been tabloid fodder for decades due to her cosmetic surgeries, infamous divorce from the late Alec Wildenstein, and lavish lifestyle.
