Katy Perry Lists Her Hot Hollywood Hills Home for .45M

Singer Katy Perry is kissing her Hollywood Hills home goodbye. The 32-year-old listed the posh Los Angeles property in for $9,450,000, according to Variety.

Perry bought the 2.33-acre spot in 2013 for $8.2 million, and it’s one of two homes that make up a compound she owns on the famed Mulholland Drive. The secluded estate adjoins the popular hiking trails of Runyon Canyon.

The pop star’s spread is certainly a hit. Built in 1954, the four-bed, six-bathroom Mediterranean-style home measures 7,400 square feet.

At the end of the gated driveway and motor court is the main house “inspired by Paul Williams architecture,” according to the listing. Williams was the L.A.-based architect to stars such as Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball, and Barbara Stanwyck.

There’s also a two-story guesthouse with a “limousine-depth” garage, glass-enclosed fitness building, and security guardhouse.

Potential buyers will find a home that is both “grand and comfortable.” The living room includes a sitting area with fireplace. The dining room has french doors that open to the patio. And the kitchen includes a breakfast bar, exposed beams on the ceiling, and colorful floor tiles.

The master suite takes up the second floor and has a sitting room, fireplace, and Roman bath with a skylight.

Outside, the resort-style pool is surrounded by Italian stone and offers views of the city. The space includes a grill, cabana with spa bath, fireplace, and fountain. The property’s 2 acres feature gardens, terraces, and cultivated fruit trees.

The singer/songwriter might be selling her extra real estate because she’s decamped to an even more private setting in celebrity-studded Beverly Hills. That off-market home was purchased for $19 million, as we reported in April. Her neighbors there include A-listers Jennifer Lawrence and Adele.

Perry won’t have much time to enjoy her new pad. She’s currently on a yearlong, world tour to promote her new album, “Witness.” Perry has landed nine No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 over her career.
