No Moral Dilemma: Faye Resnick Selling Pristine Portland Manse
Faye Resnick, who became famous as Nicole Simpson’s friend and infamous as a second-string player on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” is selling the home she owns with her husband, attorney Everett W. Jack, in Portland, OR. The listing price is $1.7 million.
Jack has ties to Portland, which is why the couple bought the home in 2014 for $1.3 million.
The four-bedroom, three-bath home is located on a third of an acre in Portland Heights, an affluent neighborhood a couple of miles from Portland center.
“You have all the benefits of the city and of a quiet neighborhood,” says listing agent Libby Benz of Windermere Stellar Real Estate, based in Portland.
The 5,536-square-foot, Mediterranean-style home features custom woodwork, decorative arches, high ceilings, hardwood flooring, and a staircase adorned with a mix of light and dark-stained mahogany. The white kitchen features a copper range hood, a style popular a few years ago. There’s also a wood-paneled den, entertainment/media room with bar, and backyard patio with stunning views of Portland.
Resnick, 60, is an interior designer and author of two books about her links to the O.J. Simpson murder trial. She’s has been a frequent guest on “RHOBH” through her friendship with cast member Kyle Richards. One of her most memorable reality TV moments was when she was dubbed “morally corrupt” by former cast member Camille Grammer, a remark Grammer has since apologized for.
“Faye’s business is very successful, and she’s having to spend more time in California than anticipated,” Benz says. “It’s logical not to hold onto this; it’s a big house.”
