‘Tanked’ Star Brett Raymer Selling Vegas Mansion—All Fish Included

The popular Animal Planet show “Tanked”—about the construction of over-the-top fish tanks—has finally ended after 15 seasons. But you can still enjoy the life aquatic if you purchase Brett Raymer’s Las Vegas home.

The luxe abode, complete with two of Raymer’s trademark aquariums, is now on the market for $3.2 million. Built in 2009, the property was purchased in 2014 for $1.15 million.

Raymer definitively put his stamp on the place. “He made extensive changes,” says listing agent Andrew “Sasquatch” Lunsford of Signature Real Estate Group. “He pretty much gutted the house.” 

And there’s nothing fishy about the work that’s been done to transform the home into a desert showpiece.

Along with seven beds and 6.5 baths, the 9,760-square-foot mansion features coffered ceilings, handcarved fireplaces, and high-end finishes throughout. According to Lunsford, the aquarium guru brought in Italian workers to handcraft ornate designs in the home.

The “under the sea”–themed kitchen includes a 700-gallon aquarium, built by the owner’s company, Acrylic Tank Manufacturing. It features 25 different sea creatures, including angelfish, triggers, and puffers. The huge cooking area comes with two islands and opens to a family room.

The master suite comes with a balcony, spa bath, and two fireplaces.

Other perks include a home theater, game room, and wine-and-cheese cellar. Outside, there’s a pool, lounge with fire pit, and barbecue. Naturally, there’s koi pond designed by Raymer.

For prospective buyers who love the work Raymer’s done, there’s more great news. The fish will stay with the home.

“He wants them to remain in their habitat that they’ve gotten used to,” says Lunsford.

While Raymer is swimming away from his custom abode, he’s staying in Vegas. He no longer needs the large property, and is moving to smaller digs, according to Lunsford.

Raymer is co-owner of Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, which has built some of the world’s largest aquariums.

With co-star and brother-in-law Wayde King, Raymer has created custom tanks with elaborate themes and exotic fish for A-listers, including DeMarcus Cousins and Tracy Morgan. The series ended in December 2018, but the duo will continue making waves with a new YouTube series, “Lifestyles of the Fish and Famous.”
