Millions Check Out Tom Brady’s Mansion—It’s the Week’s Most Popular Home
In a surprise play call, legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, have put their stylish mansion in Massachusetts on the market for $39.5 million. And just like the six-time Super Bowl champ, his home is a winner—it strutted away with the title of this week’s most popular home on realtor.com®.
As soon as the news broke, millions of looky-loos fired up their browsers to get a glimpse inside the Brady-Bundchen compound. The news sparked panic for some Patriots fans, who were worried that the sale signaled the end of the superstar’s time with the Pats. Brady did his best to allay those fears, reminding fans that the sale of a nearly $40 million mansion takes time. (His signing a two-year, $70 million contract extension didn’t hurt, either.)
Brady isn’t the only QB attracting clicks this week. Steelers signal caller Ben Roethlisberger is also selling a massive mansion in Pennsylvania that’s drawing plenty of attention. However, Steelers fans can also rest easy, Big Ben and his family have reportedly built another home in the area.
Besides A-list NFL talent, you also clicked on a cavalcade of massive mansions. There’s a Virginia country estate from 1776 on more than 650 acres, a Mediterranean palace in Georgia that’s been on the market for a decade, and a massive mansion down the block from Brady’s that’s over half off its original list price of $90 million.
We think all of the week’s most popular properties are a score in one way or another. Scroll on down to peruse the entire list.
10. 7005 NE Marine Dr, Portland, OR
Price: $13,900
Why it’s here: It’s a floating house, available for less than the price of a used car! The two-bedroom residence on the Columbia River sits on steel pontoon floats. New owners will need to find a new moorage spot and perform what the listing calls “due diligence for inspections,” but this barge has the potential to be a great deal on a one-of-a-kind home.

9. 2839 State Route 29, Greenwich, NY
Price: $149,000
Why it’s here: Built in 1805, this old-timey tavern sits next to the early home of Susan B. Anthony. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building also known as the Stoops Hotel sits north of Albany, NY, and close to the Vermont border. It was recently used as an artist studio and doesn’t have a kitchen, but it does have an updated electrical and heating system. It needs a bit of work, but for a buyer looking for a historic renovation project, it’s a sweet opportunity.

8. 490 W. Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA
Price: $10,600,000
Why it’s here: This Mediterranean palace in the heart of Buckhead has been on the market for almost a decade, and the seller has discounted the price yet again. It originally landed on the market in 2009 (only a year after it was built) for a whopping $25 million. The remarkable nine-bedroom home has numerous luxe features, including a cigar room, two gyms, seven kitchens, and a recording studio. Bonus: The sale price also includes all the furnishings.

7. 7500 Ironwood Ln, Warrenton, VA
Price: $29,950,000
Why it’s here: This sprawling country estate, just an hour outside Washington, DC, was built in 1776, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Georgian-style mansion sits on over 660 acres, which also feature a two-story carriage house, farm, equestrian facilities, additional residences, and a shooting preserve. The grand main house has 19 bedrooms, making it an ideal spot to wine and dine the capital’s elite.

6. 11408 Highland Farm Ct, Potomac, MD

Why it’s here: This Colonial sits on a manicured 2 acres in the coveted Round Hill neighborhood. The original owners have lovingly maintained the main house, guesthouse, and pool house. The formal interiors feature custom-painted walls, a stone wine grotto, and other luxury upgrades. There’s also an indoor basketball court, gym, bocce court, outdoor kitchen, and garage parking for six cars.

5. 150 Woodland Rd, Brookline, MA
Price: $38,000,000
Why it’s here: Just 5 miles from the middle of Boston and situated on more than 7 acres between Brookline Country Club and Putterham Meadows Golf Club, this eight-bedroom mansion was once the priciest place in Brookline. Until Tom Brady came along!
Built in 1999 and owned by the founder of Reebok, Paul Fireman, the home was initially listed in 2016 for $90 million, but has since had its price slashed by 58%. It now looks like a relative bargain compared with Brady’s manse nearby.

4. 5026 S. Greenwood Ave, Chicago, IL
Price: $4,500,000
Why it’s here: Known as the Goodman mansion, it’s marketed as “one of the most significant homes in Chicago.” If the listing details are to be believed, the Queen Anne–style home from 1892 just underwent a three-year, $4.5 million restoration. So the home is on the market for the price of the entire project.
Craftsmen were brought in from Europe to perfect details like the Jacobean ceilings, paneling, porches, 12 fireplaces, and a 40-foot ballroom. The seven-bedroom home offers 18,000 square feet of living space and sits on nearly an acre of landscaped grounds.

3. 2213 Chardonnay Cir, Gibsonia, PA
Price: $2,295,000
Why it’s here: Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is selling this luxury home he purchased in 2006. What he’s leaving behind is an outstanding 5-acre estate that is dubbed “the ultimate entertaining complex.” Highlights of the eight-bedroom home include a playroom addition, wine cellar, game room, pool with swim-up bar, basketball court, and extensive security features.

2. 2419 Arroyo Rd, Waco, TX
Price: $670,900
Why it’s here: This “Asian ranch” turned country farmhouse was featured on Season 2 of “Fixer Upper.” After it was listed in April for $739,900, the price has been cut, sparking a new wave of interest. The Gaines-renovated house is a light-filled, open, and cozy contemporary with wide-plank wood floors, a lovely front porch, chef’s kitchen, game room, and mudroom. (Of course there’s a mudroom!)

1. 112 Woodland Rd, Brookline, MA
Price: $39,500,000
Why it’s here: Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is ready to make moves, including selling the massive mansion outside Boston he shares with his wife, Gisele, and their brood. His estate was designed by architect Richard Landry and includes everything an A-list family could need to feel at home, from the wine room and yoga studio to the chic stone pool out back.
The greatest signal caller is refreshingly realistic about real estate. He told WEEI Radio, “It takes a long time to sell a house. My house is a little bit of an expensive one, so it doesn’t fly off the shelf in a couple weeks.”
