The baton has been passed for this week’s most popular home on realtor.com®. But it hasn’t gone far. Indiana, proud home to the Republican vice presidential candidate, is lighting up the world of online real estate as well: Say hello to this gorgeous estate in Fort Wayne. Last week, it was a bargain mansion in Evansville, IN, in need of some serious love, that caught the attention our intrepid readers.

This week, the internet latched on to a gloriously restored 1922 Tudor Revival with a solarium, north and south gables, and watchful lion statues at the brick entry. In fact, three of the 10 home listings this week are in the Hoosier State.

Maybe it’s the Republican National Convention in Cleveland that has set the country’s eyes on the Midwest, but we’re playing very well in Peoria. East Peoria, to be exact.

There’s also a charming cottage in Pennsylvania, a newer construction in Michigan, and a stunning Victorian in Illinois.

Not to be forgotten are a stately Colonial in North Carolina, a woodsy retreat in West Virginia, and a Mediterranean near Houston. Where are we not seeing much? The Northeast. But hey, there’s always next week.
