A’s Outfielder Coco Crisp Selling M Mansion in Rancho Mirage
If you need a little batting practice and have $10 million in your back pocket, then check out the Rancho Mirage, CA, estate that Oakland A’s outfielder Coco Crisp is selling.
The 4.8-acre property features a miniature baseball diamond, human-made lake, swimming pool with grotto, tennis court, and seven-car garage. Is this a home or a five-star resort?
The 17,900-square-foot house has five bedrooms, elevator, home theater, and game room.
Crisp, a 15-year MLB veteran, reportedly bought the property with his wife, Maria, three years ago for $7 million. The Wall Street Journal says the estate is the family’s principal residence; they also own a place in the San Francisco Bay Area, which they use during baseball season.
Rachelle Rosten, who is co-listing the property with Sally Forster Jones, told the Journal that the Crisps are used to moving “every few years” and are selling the estate to prepare for “a new adventure” somewhere in the Rancho Mirage area, where they are looking for a new home.
Crisp, who joined the A’s in 2010, told the paper by email, “We’ll miss it, but are excited for what lies ahead.”
