Bev Hills Housewife Camille Grammer Pays .55M for Modest Malibu Pad
Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member Camille Grammer has paid $6.55 million for a 1950-built house on Malibu Road, the oh-so-desirable, beachfront section of the California sandbox for the rich and famous.
Yolanda’s Little Black Book, a real estate gossip site, says Grammer, the ex-wife of actor Kelsey Grammer, bought the property through “The Sea Life View Trust.” The site says the “unassuming” house on the sands “is about as humble-looking as any $6.5 million house you’ll ever see.”
The listing description on Sotheby’s site says the house—which was on the market for the first time in over 60 years—comes with 50 feet of beach frontage accessible through two staircases and presided over by three beachfront decks.
The 2,043-square-foot main house features two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a second floor devoted entirely to the master suite, which includes a deck, private office, and bath. A guest suite with private entrance is situated just off a courtyard.
Grammer is a former “Club MTV” dancer, model, actress, and producer. She’s best known for her stint as an aggrieved housewife on the first two seasons of “RHOBH,” where she talked endlessly about her acrimonious split from her actor husband.
Since then, she’s popped up on the popular Bravo staple from time to time and recently confirmed she’ll be involved in the show’s seventh season. Filming in Malibu? Stay tuned.
