Beverly D’Angelo Taking a Vacation From Beverly Hills Home

“National Lampoon’s Vacation” actress Beverly D’Angelo is taking a break from her Beverly Hills, CA, investment property—and former residence—which she’s put on the market for $2.8 million.

The 1920s Spanish-style home, which retains a few original details, has five bedrooms and four baths and sits on a lot that’s a little over a quarter-acre.

The 4,000-square-foot house features a two-story foyer, arched doorways, wrought-iron banisters, and a step-down living room with a beamed cathedral ceiling. Variable-plank wood floors stretch throughout much of the first floor. A white kitchen sports square, white floor tiles.

The backyard offers a patio and pergola next to a swimming pool and a detached studio with its own porch.

D’Angelo bought the place in 2005 for $2.35 million. She lived in it for a few years with her two children with actor Al Pacino, then moved to a bigger place in Hollywood Hills.

She listed the 90210 property in 2008 for $2.2 million, but removed it from the market eight months later and has been renting it out ever since, says listing agent Eduardo Alvarez Renta, of Keller Williams Beverly Hills.

“It’s a gorgeous Spanish house,” Renta says of the property. “It’s like a grand hacienda.”

D’Angelo, 65, is best known for portraying Ellen Griswold in the 1980s “Vacation” film series and country singer Patsy Cline in the 1980 film “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actress.
