Chef Bobby Flay Chops Price on His Chelsea Duplex

Restaurateur and Food Network star Bobby Flay is waiting for the pot to boil on his Manhattan duplex sale. He has chopped the list price from nearly $8 million to nearly $7 million.

The three-bedroom (could be made into four) apartment in the Chelsea section of Manhattan boasts 3,256 square feet on two levels, each with a private entrance. The lower level sports an open living-dining room, a chef’s kitchen with a massive walk-in pantry, a guest bedroom, and a full bathroom. Level two contains a master en suite with two walk-in closets, and an enviable entertainment room with a zinc-top bar.

Flay has been a fixture on “Iron Chef America” and has performed guest turns on HBO’s “Entourage,” playing Mrs. Ari’s love interest. He is owner and executive chef of Mesa Grill in Las Vegas and Bar Americain in New York City. Flay also owns 19 Bobby’s Burger Palaces in 11 states.

You haven’t lived until you’ve stuffed your mouth with Bobby’s Crunchburger, a perfectly spiced cheeseburger topped with potato chips. But we digress.

The duplex was created by combining apartments from the eighth and ninth floors. Curbed says Flay kept the apartment after his 2015 divorce from actress Stephanie March.

If you can’t raise $7 million to buy a duplex fit for a real chef, then you can rent it for $22,500 a month, according to the Corcoran Group. It’s available immediately.
