If Elvis is your icon of choice, we have a house for you. You’ll need $30 million and a deep desire to live like The King in the swanky Trousdale Estates neighborhood of Beverly Hills, CA. With those big boxes checked, this gorgeous French Regency mansion will satisfy your burning love.

It sits on a 1.18-acre promontory and offers city-to-ocean views, so you can effortlessly behold your domain, or at least behold the suspicious minds of your celebrity neighbors, of which there are many.

“The street is now popularly known as Billionaires’ Row. The area remains a huge celebrity magnet, and owning a home with such cultural significance would be a sound investment,” says listing broker Mauricio Umansky, founder and CEO of The Agency.

Elvis and Priscilla Presley reportedly purchased the three-bedroom, five-bath home in 1967, the year they were married. They paid $400,000 for it and, according to Priscilla’s recent revelations, it was a bit of a heartbreak hotel for her. The iconic home has changed hands several times since the ’70s, and was most recently sold in 2014 for $14,500,000.

Elvis's former estate has been updated and remodel, but still has those classic French Regency style bones.

The new $30 million price tag reflects a number of updates, including stainless-steel appliances, new flooring, and upgraded electrical systems. The indoor-outdoor living and entertaining space has been improved with a patio with fireplace and a resurfaced pool and spa.

The attached guesthouse also received a thorough update. The one constant on the property is the famous gate, where fans still leave notes to Elvis, along with the occasional blue suede shoe.

While plenty of work went on behind the gates, the home still “features the original entry gates where Elvis greeted fans, signed autographs, and posed for photos,” says Umansky.

The remodel, the location, the celebrity icon connection, and the robust housing market have resulted in a dramatic price appreciation in just a couple of years. The most important factor may be up for debate, but there’s one thing that’s certain—the new owners will love it tender.
