Head coach Marvin Lewis had a 16-year run with the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals. However, his tumultuous reign ended with a mutual parting of the ways earlier this year after three straight seasons of postseason misses.

It now looks like the coach is ready to put Ohio squarely in his rear-view mirror.

He’s selling his gorgeous mansion in Cincinnati‘s tony Indian Hill neighborhood for $2.79 million. Indian Hill is a tranquil suburb with a small-town lifestyle and is known as one of the wealthiest areas in the country.

Lewis’ 9,000-square-foot mansion sits on 3.5 beautiful acres, including lush landscaping. The six-bedroom estate offers serious curb appeal thanks to its windows with shutters, white column entryway, and gorgeous red brick facade.

Inside you’ll find an abundance of custom details, including crown moldings throughout, traditional light fixtures, fireplaces, and built-in bookshelves.

The home’s many windows and vaulted ceilings bathe the interiors in natural light, contributing to an airy look and feel.

The mansion also comes with a wine cellar that’s the stuff of Napa dreams. It can hold hundreds of bottles.

There’s also a finished basement, two offices, and a gym. Each of the five guest bedrooms is en suite and designed for maximum comfort. And for the car enthusiast, there’s a nine-car garage!

Pool and spa

Out back there’s a glittering pool and spa, a pool house, and a grilling station. There’s even a private pond on the acreage. This backyard rivals resort options and looks like the perfect place to retire after a long day at the office.

Lewis, 60, endured more than a few rough days as coach of the Bengals. He did lead the woebegone franchise to seven playoff appearances during his tenure, but never won a single playoff game. He left Cincy with a regular season record of 131-122-3.
