Fox News Anchor Gregg Jarrett Lists Tempting Tudor in Westchester County
Longtime Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett is selling his 1920s-era, Tudor-style mansion in New York’s Westchester County, about an hour away from the network’s studios in midtown Manhattan.
The 3,871-square-foot home has five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It sits on a quarter-acre lot in Larchmont, a wealthy village in the town of Mamaroneck. It’s listed at $1.8 million.
The home is located on a gently winding, tree-lined street with more than a dozen other classic mansions. It’s an eight-minute walk to the Metro North train line, which is a 40-minute ride into Grand Central Station. The home’s exterior is classic American Tudor, with a stone facade, decorative timber, and a steep roof.
The arched front door opens to a formal entryway, with a tall ceiling, custom woodwork, and hardwood flooring. The open-concept lower level has a living room with fireplace, family room, dining room, library with built-in shelves, and sunroom with leaded glass windows.
The updated kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, a breakfast bar, wood-paneled refrigerator, full backsplash, and stone countertops. There’s also a dining nook.
Elsewhere, the home has an office, master bedroom with sitting area, updated master bathroom, and large bedrooms that retain the home’s original architectural elements, like its Tudor-style arches.
A small stone patio is located off the sunroom, under the shade of a Japanese maple tree. There’s an attached, two-car garage.
Jarrett joined Fox in 2002, after working for MSNBC, Court TV, and a number of local TV stations. Before becoming a journalist, he worked as a defense attorney in San Francisco. He’s a frequent lecturer at law schools.
His wife, Cate, works as a Realtor® in Larchmont and is representing the family on this sale. Her bio says she and Gregg moved to the village in 1998, after moving five times in a 10-year period.
