Geraldo Rivera Lists Marvelous Manhattan Condo With Central Park Views
TV personality Geraldo Rivera and his wife, Erica, are trying to unload their triple-unit condo on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for $7.2 million.
The East 89th Street condo, which the Riveras purchased in May 2015 for $5.6 million, combines a one-bedroom unit and two studio apartments into a 2,500-square-foot unit featuring four bedrooms and three baths.
Pictures show “amazing unobstructed” views of Central Park and its famed reservoir. The full-service building offers a rooftop pool, fitness center, playroom, 24-hour doorman, concierge and valet service, and attended service elevator.
The Observer says the couple spent four months renovating the 40th-floor unit, which boasts oak floors throughout the open living room and dining room, a windowed kitchen with white cabinets and granite counters, and a wet bar. The “double sized” master bedroom sports huge picture windows.
If you can’t quite manage the monthly note on the Riveras’ place, there’s a four-bedroom unit on the 37th floor going for an even $5 million. And if that’s still too steep, the Riveras’ waterfront home in Edgewater, NJ, remains on the market for $2.88 million.
Rivera started his career in the 1970s as an investigative reporter who won a Peabody Award for exposing abuses of patients with intellectual disabilities at Staten Island’s Willowbrook State School. He’s also hosted his own daytime talk show, appeared on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” and was the first star to be eliminated in the 22nd season of “Dancing With the Stars.”
