After putting his spiffy home in Manhattan Beach on the rental market for $15,000 per month a little over a year ago, sports media personality Colin Cowherd is ready to make a deal. He’s listed the 3,714-square-foot, Cape Cod–style home for $3.2 million, which is slightly lower than the $3.34 million he was asking for it before he decided to rent it out in May 2016.

Cowherd likely found the clean lines and relaxing vibe of the house a much-needed respite after a long day of ruffling and smoothing feathers on “The Herd With Colin Cowherd,” which airs on Fox Sports Radio and Fox Sports 1.

Cowherd’s hot takes draw quite a bit of attention, especially from fans who rabidly agree or disagree with him. What could be better than coming back to a shiny new home right near the ocean?

The home’s located in the family-friendly “tree section” of Manhattan Beach. The previous owners purchased the property in 2013 for $1,120,000, then got busy building a new home on the lot. Cowherd bought it when it was finished in 2015 for $3,095,000. He later brought in his own interior designer to gussy it up.

The interior features vaulted ceilings, Provenza hardwood flooring, Carrara marble, and a wide staircase. A disappearing door system opens to a slate patio with a fire pit and a built-in barbecue. Among the name brand elements are Grohe fixtures, Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchen appliances, Currey and Co. sconces, and Ro Sham Beaux lighting.

Cowherd began his professional career in Las Vegas, where he served as the play-by-play voice for the San Diego Padres Double-A team, the Las Vegas Stars. He worked his way up to sports director at KVBC in Las Vegas. After stints as a local sports anchor in Tampa, FL, and Portland, OR, he became an anchor on ESPN Radio. He signed with Fox Sports in 2015.
