After years of vacationing on the island as renters, they finally found a property they’d like to make their own—and it’s a multimillion-dollar fixer-upper.

The 7,000-square-foot estate has good bones, and the architecture is typical of a New England seaside estate (white coffered ceilings, expansive windows, exterior shingles, etc.). Plus, it’s on 29 acres, so there’s plenty of room to build out the compound. But the decor is begging to be overhauled.
