Joy Behar Snaps Up Contemporary Condo on Manhattan’s West Side for .4M

Joy Behar has a new view. The talk-show host recently snagged a contemporary condo for $2.4 million on Manhattan’s West Side, according to the real estate website 6sqft.

The condo is listed “in contract,” according to public records.

The longtime co-host of the ABC talk show “The View” can enjoy a convenient location that’s an easy walk to the TV studio, as well as Central Park.

Behar didn’t move far. She had previously lived in a co-op farther uptown that she gushed about to the New York Times in 2014.

Her new purchase, in a similarly lively locale, offers a “rarely available” two-bedroom unit that is convertible to three, according to the listing. The space was recently refreshed with new paint and refinished wood floors.

The L-shaped corner living room could be closed off to allow for a conversion to a guest room or home office. There’s also a compact galley kitchen, washer and dryer, lots of closets, and a large living and dining area. There are three full baths and a private balcony with Central Park views.

The 25-floor high-rise is right in the middle of the Lincoln Square neighborhood, near the famed performing arts plaza Lincoln Center, public transit, the largest Whole Foods in the city, and shops and restaurants galore.

Building perks include a full-time doorman, concierge service, bike room, and full-service garage.

Behar recently picked up a summer home in Sag Harbor, NY, for a whopping $4.75 million in September. She also just sold her East Hampton pad for $3.2 million, slightly less than her original $3.8 million ask.

One of the original members of “The View,” which started airing in 1997, Behar recently published a critique of President Donald Trump, titled “The Great Gasbag.”
