When a couple divorces, the fallout usually claims the house. It’s a sad fact of life.
Estranged musical couple Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams, who are ending their six-year marriage, are selling their Los Angeles home for $3.2 million, TMZ says.
Located in the city’s popular Los Feliz neighborhood, the 1927 Mediterranean-style home, on almost a third of an acre, features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, original period details like “wedding cake” beading on the ceiling, gorgeous hardwood floors, and flagstone patios. And according to the listing, the home is plopped in a neighborhood within a neighborhood—it’s in the “coveted Oaks neighborhood of Los Feliz.”
The home may also harbor odors from the eight pets—six cats and two dogs—the couple shared in happier times and have bickered about since the divorce, which Moore filed for in 2015.
Moore reportedly bought the house in 2002 for $1.7 million, but the couple has been splitting the mortgage, TMZ says.
Moore, a singer, songwriter, and actress, is arguably best known as the voice of Rapunzel in Disney’s “Tangled.” Adams, formerly of the bands Whiskeytown and The Cardinals, has also produced albums for Willie Nelson and Jesse Malin.
