Throughout his career, shooting guard Jeremy Lamb has worked hard to find a solid home on an NBA roster. The former University of Connecticut standout was drafted by the Houston Rockets in 2012, but was traded to Oklahoma City in the deal that brought megastar James Harden to Houston.

“When I was in OKC, I wasn’t playing and everybody was telling me, ‘It’s going to pay off. It’s going to pay off. Just keep working,’” Lamb told SBNation.com in 2016. “I really just tried to earn my keep and just keep working hard. At times it seemed like it wasn’t paying off and hard work was not doing anything. But hard work always pays off.”

After a trade to the Charlotte Hornets in 2015, Lamb finally found a steady home, setting career highs in points and growing into a leadership role. After four seasons with the Hornets, Lamb has made a big move—signing as a free agent with the Indiana Pacers in July.

He’ll be leaving behind fond memories in Charlotte, NC—including his now legendary half-court shot to down the eventual NBA champion Toronto Raptors in December—as well as his $2.2 million home in the Queen City.

Sitting on a lot that’s just under an acre, the 5,200-square-foot home features five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Located in the desirable Foxcroft neighborhood of Charlotte, the house also boasts a chef’s kitchen that extends into a spacious family room, as well as a covered patio, in-ground pool, and adjoining spa.

The backyard area is surrounded by natural tree cover, which gives all of the outdoor space a feeling of seclusion without seeming claustrophobic. Nilou Saniri of Peters & Associates is handling the listing.

UConn assistant coach Andre LaFleur once said of Lamb: “You started to realize that not only was he a very good player, but that’s when he showed glimpses of being special.” We’re sure Lamb will be looking to find an equally special place he can call home once he settles down in Indianapolis.
