Orlando Magic Guard Arron Afflalo Has a Las Vegas Home Sale Up His Sleeve
Presto chango! After little more than a year of homeownership, Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo is attempting to flip his luxurious Las Vegas home, putting it on the market for $5,675,000.
Public records show Afflalo bought the 11,433-square-foot mansion in February 2017 for $3.8 million. Earlier this month, the 11-year NBA veteran also listed his 5,422-square-foot West Los Angeles home for $2.3 million.
The L.A. native—whose NBA career has included stints with the Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings, and most recently the Magic—was using the homes during the off-season.
One of the upgrades Afflalo made to the Vegas home was the addition of a waterfall wall in the main entrance. The same entrance boasts 30-foot-high, wood-barreled ceilings that extend to the living room.
All total, there are three levels, five bedrooms, six baths, and two half-baths on a half-acre lot. It’s a lot of home for someone who lives there only part of the year.
Of course, the home comes with a few luxe bells and whistles, including five en suite bedrooms (two of them are master suites with fireplaces, palatial bathrooms, and walk-in closets).
In addition, there’s a home theater, game room with bar, and formal dining room with wine wall.
The home is located on the championship Bear’s Best Las Vegas golf course and has views of the links. The views—which also include the surrounding mountains and the glittering Las Vegas Strip in the distance—are best enjoyed from the home’s multiple terraces.
Outdoors there’s a fully equipped kitchen and a three-level pool with spa and swim-up bar.
Listing agent Ivan Sher of the Shapiro & Sher Group describes the luxury residence as “very high-quality yet functional and welcoming.”
