Oscar Nunez of ‘The Office’ Selling His L.A. Ranch House for M

After spending the better part of a decade at Dunder Mifflin as an accountant, a man has to change things up. And so Oscar Nunez, best known for playing Oscar Martinez on “The Office,” has put his Nichols Canyon ranch house on the market for $2 million.

Perhaps it’s because Nunez has new gigs. He’s currently starring as Father Doug on the TBS alien comedy “People of Earth.” And if you’re a sports fan, Nunez is omnipresent in State Farm TV ads also starring NBA superstar Chris Paul.

Nunez bought the three-bedroom, three-bath home in Los Angeles for $875,000 in 2008. Built in 1970, the home has been freshened up with white paint inside and out, a new deck, custom garage doors, two children’s play areas, and a cheerful red fountain.

The 2,251-square-foot home sits on nearly a half-acre, with a gated driveway, plenty of mature foliage, and shade trees. There’s a pergola with a dining area underneath, and a view of the Hollywood sign from the new deck.

The interior features a sunken living room with a brick fireplace, wood flooring, vaulted and beamed ceiling, and french doors.

Listing agent Traci Lynn Eiler also notes that the house next door is also for sale, for $1,575,000. The purchase of both properties could create a single grand estate.

The two properties together would total about an acre. It’s “a great opportunity for a luxury developer,” she says. The properties are just minutes away from the heart of Hollywood.

Nunez married actress Ursula Whittaker in 2011. She has appeared in TV series, including “Veep,” “Prime Suspect,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

2017 was a busy year for Nunez—not only did he star in “People of Earth,” but he also appeared in two episodes of Showtime’s “Shameless,” and played Councilman Rodriguez in the “Baywatch” reboot on the big screen.
