More regional real estate leaders are confirmed to join Hong Kong’s first Property Report Congress on 7 December
Property Report Congress China’s debut at the JW Marriott Hong Kong just got a lot bigger as more respected personalities join the line-up of speakers and panelists will speak about property trends and crucial issues on 7 December 2016.
One of them is Dr Benny Chow, director of sustainability, Hong Kong at Aedas, who will share his expert insights and conduct a case study on sustainable development in China.
Currently the Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Dr Chow is an award-winning sustainable design expert with worldwide project experience and the USGBC LEED International Roundtable Representative, LEED AP BD+C (USGBC), Energy Group Leader of ASHRAE (Hong Kong Chapter), and China Green Building Council Expert Panel Member (Building Physics), among others.
At Aedas, Dr Chow brings with him more than 21 years of experience in sustainable design specialising in computer modeling and analysis, urban wind environment, solar heat gain calculations, global daylight illumination simulation, building energy modeling, and air ventilation assessment using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which strongly strengthened the architectural concept and designs of more than 400+ projects located in 40+ cities that he has worked on.

He also served as an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Hong Kong (HKU), and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Center for Housing Innovations at CUHK.
Meanwhile, the panel discussion “Overview of Real Estate in the Greater Pearl River Delta 2016 and Forecast (Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai)” will be joined by respected leaders in Chinese real estate such as: moderator Gregory Ku, managing director, JLL Macau; Vincent Cheung, executive director, Colliers International; and Paul Tse, chairman of the China Property Awards judging panel and incumbent president of the board of the Macao Association of Building Contractors and Developers.
They all join previously announced speakers such: as Asia Business Council’s Mark Clifford, a Property Report Congress 2015 alum who will give the opening keynote address entitled “Greening Asia: New Thinking in China’s Property Sector”; Thailand’s Simon Derville, deputy vice-president for Business Development at Thailand Property Award-winner Raimon Land PLC; and former Colliers International real estate management services director and 20-year veteran Craig Maturi, currently general manager at Myanmar Property Award-winner Yoma Strategic Holdings, Ltd, creator of Thanlyin Estate Development – Star City, one of Southeast Asia’s largest master-planned communities.
