Rent Jon Hamm’s Gorgeous NYC Penthouse for K a Month

After celeb couple Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt split up, the “Mad Men” actor made the sane real estate move of renting out their jointly owned property in Manhattan, according to multiple news reports. The rental is available for $15,000 a month.

The two purchased the 10th-floor residence in 2013 for $2.45 million, reports Mansion Global.

The sunny penthouse has two bedrooms, two baths, and two large terraces in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of the Upper West Side. It’s located just a half-block from Central Park.

The rooms are generously proportioned, and they include a formal dining room with two skylights; a kitchen with island, marble counters, and top-of-the-line appliances; and a living area with a wood-burning fireplace.

The master bedroom comes with a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom, as well as direct access to one of two landscaped terraces. In warmer months, dining, entertaining, and taking in the views of Central Park can be enjoyed outdoors. This charming penthouse is one of only two penthouse units in the building.

The unit also has central air and heating, a Sonos sound system with built-in speakers in every room, custom millwork and wainscoting, remote-controlled shades, and restored casement windows.

Built in 1928, the landmark building was designed by architect Rosario Candela. Amenities include a part-time doorman, porter, live-in super, bicycle room, and laundry room. The 39-unit building is also pet-friendly.

Hamm and Westfeldt never married, but were partners from 1997 to 2015. Hamm drew raves for his performance in the long-running AMC series “Mad Men” as a tortured and hard-drinking adman in 1950s Manhattan, and recently starred on the big screen in “Baby Driver” and “Keeping Up With the Joneses.” Westfeldt is an actor and screenwriter, known most recently for her movie “Friends With Kids.”
