Retired MLB Closer Robb Nen Takes Another Swing at Selling Arizona Retreat

After striking out with the original listing of his Lake Havasu City, AZ, home, former MLB closer Robb Nen is taking another swing at selling his desert dwelling. The 4,487-square-foot property is back on the market, now for a discounted $1,174,900.

Perhaps the reduction from the original ask of $1.4 million, which we reported in 2014, will find a buyer willing to play ball.

With the lower price comes the whole package. The home can be sold “turn-key minus a few personal items,” the listing notes. We hope “turn-key” means including some of the fun toys such as arcade games, shuffleboard, and the pingpong table we can see in the photos.

The three-bedroom, 3.5-bath getaway is located in a gated community that overlooks a golf course and sparkling lake views that can be enjoyed from the infinity pool. Outdoor features include a fireplace, barbecue, dining area, and guesthouse.

The main house features a chef’s kitchen with dining area, granite island with bar seating, and outdoor access. The kitchen opens to the living room and wet bar. The lower level includes a theater room and game room.

Nen spent most of his career as a closer. The three-time All-Star played with the San Francisco Giants, Texas Rangers, and Florida Marlins, helping the Marlins clinch the World Series in 1997.
