When you picture Sammy Hagar in his natural habitat, your mind likely races to Cabo, tequila, and toes in the sand. But it turns out Hagar, aka the Red Rocker, also owns an immaculate home in Lake Arrowhead, CA, which is now on the market for $5.9 million.
Built in 2006, the French chateau–style home is formal and refined. Boasting amazing lake views and measuring 6,557 square feet, it has eight bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms.
In addition to the perfectly appointed kitchen and living spaces, there’s also a TV room, game room, full bar, and second kitchen. Outdoors, you’ll find a spa, fire pit, and built-in barbecue. The master suite features a luxe bathroom with a sauna, soaking tub, and steam shower.

This isn’t the only piece of property Hagar is ready to motor away from. In early November, the legendary rocker listed his gorgeous Hawaiian retreat on Maui, complete with its own well, fruit trees, chicken coop, and tilapia pool.
Just days ago, Hagar premiered a documentary film in his hometown of Mill Valley, CA, titled “Red Til I’m Dead,” made during his 70th birthday festivities in October. The milestone birthday festivities extended over four days and included 2,000 of Hagar’s fans, who were selected to attend by lottery. The Mercury News said more than 100,000 people entered the lottery to get tickets.
“Fans trek from all over the world. Every year, the biggest fans make it there from Japan, from Australia, from all over Europe.” Hagar said. “I’m glad we filmed it this time because I don’t know how much longer I can keep doing this.”
And at 70 years of age, how many homes spread over how many miles do you need? No one can blame the Van Halen alum for divesting a bit of his impressive real estate portfolio. Now, all he needs is a buyer to dive into this luxe lakeside retreat.
