Seattle Mariners’ Jean Segura Scores a New Home in Bellevue for .45M

Seattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura has slid right into a new home. Originally from the Dominican Republic, the slick-fielding infielder purchased a glorious new build in Bellevue, WA, for $4.45 million. According to property records, Segura purchased it in August 2017, shortly after he signed a five-year, $70 million contract to stick around in Seattle.

Prior to inking the June deal to stay in the Pacific Northwest, the 27-year-old moved around a bit in the MLB. He landed with the Mariners in 2016 after spending a single season with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Now the infielder has added a home that’s a real catch.

The focal point of the home is a show-stopping, 18-foot crystal chandelier above the central wooden and glass staircase.

The 6,394-square-foot home on a corner lot has six bedrooms and seven baths. The sleek design includes a contemporary kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, plus four decks. There’s also a media room, wine room, gym, lounge with wet bar, and three-car garage.

The master suite includes a fireplace and private deck. The home is nestled among the trees with spectacular city views from the elevated outdoor spaces.

Segura made his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Angels, but was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers after appearing in only a single game with the Angels. After four seasons withe the Brew Crew, he was traded to the Diamondbacks for one year before settling in with the Mariners. He was an All-Star in 2013, and led the National League in hits in 2016.
