Serena Williams Buys New Pad in 90210 Right Before Listing Bel Air Mansion

Tennis legend and new mom Serena Williams is holding court in the real estate market.
According to real estate gossip Yolanda, the 23-time Grand Slam singles champ recently paid $6.68 million for a brand-new five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, CA. The three-story home on a quarter-acre lot boasts an open floor plan and views of the city and valley.
The white kitchen has a black stone island with dramatic white veins. The master bath reverses the color scheme and features black cabinets topped with white stone.
The backyard is mostly pool along with a small grassy area. The deal closed on Oct. 19, and the trust purchasing the 90210 home is the same trust behind a recent for-sale listing in Bel Air.

In Bel Air, Williams is attempting to sell a multiple-acre estate in the Stone Canyon area, according to Variety. The asking price here is $12 million.
The 6,101-square-foot, six-bedroom home is sited on a 2.7-acre lot with old-growth trees, well-tended gardens, and private hiking trails.
A tall hedge hides the powder-blue house, and a colonnade connects the three-car garage to the main house. The house features a semicircular living room with transom windows set above a wall of french doors, and the formal dining room opens to a patio.

The kitchen boasts cherry-colored cabinets, marble counters, and the tallest pot-scrubbing faucet we’ve ever seen. The master suite comes with a Juliet balcony and bath with a claw-foot tub and steam shower.
There’s also an exercise room with a mirrored wall on the main floor, and a backyard pool surrounded by flagstone and headed by an open pavilion with outdoor fireplace.
Williams is the No. 1-ranked women’s singles player and the greatest female tennis player of all time. She holds 39 Grand Slam titles. In September, she gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. The father is Williams’ fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, Reddit co-founder.
