Shaun White Looks to Soar Away From Mod Mansion in Hollywood Hills
Snowboarding legend and Olympic medalist Shaun White is selling his contemporary glass and concrete home in Los Angeles. The home, which White bought two years ago for $6.4 million, is now on the market for nearly $6.95 million, according to Variety.
Situated in the Hollywood Hills, the 4,500-square-foot house offers “cliffhanger views of LA.” Sleek and stunning, it has an open floor plan, high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows and doors. The backyard features a pool and spa.
The five-bedroom, five-bath home also includes a master suite boasting skyline views and private balcony. The house comes with a wine cellar and two-car garage.
White bought the home in August 2015 from Maxim Cherniavsky, a property developer and former contestant on the Russian version of “The Bachelor.” We covered a different (and more luxurious!) spec mansion in L.A. dreamed up by Cherniavsky in March 2015.
Also in August 2015, White listed his Mid-Century Modern Home in the Hollywood Hills for nearly $2.2 million. It was sold a month later for $2.3 million.
White, 30, is a two-time Olympic gold medalist in the snowboard halfpipe event. He also holds 13 snowboarding gold medals and two skateboarding gold medals from the X Games.
