A massive beachfront compound in Malibu, CA, has landed on the market for $115 million. With the rarefied nine-digit price tag, it’s this week’s most expensive new listing on realtor.com®.

Known as Mar de Armor, or Sea of Love, the coastal compound was built for Metro Networks founder David Saperstein, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The sky-high price of such a spread has become more commonplace in Southern California, and this home in particular will likely tempt a wealthy buyer seeking a weekend escape. After all, the exclusive neighborhood is reportedly home to celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Courteney Cox, as well as Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke.

The 10,646-square-foot home boasts an unusual construction that comprises two wings facing each other. They’re connected by a two-story entry with a dramatic floor-to-ceiling chandelier.

“The house is architecturally modern,” says listing agent Drew Mandile with Sotheby’s International Realty. “It’s very stark-white inside. It’s very dramatic in an ocean coastline setting.”

He adds that due to tightening coastal building restrictions, “I don’t believe you can build that size of a home in Malibu again.”

Built in the 1990s, the 12-bed, 14-bath home features walls of glass and an open floor plan. The dramatic infinity pool juts toward the coastline, and there are water views on every floor.

Luxe features and amenities include a home theater, wine storage, gym, formal dining room, chef’s kitchen, in-law apartment, and eight-car garage. The spacious master suite comes with a walk-in closet and bath with a copper soaking tub.

The property’s 2.6 acres include a tennis court, decks, patios, Zen walkways, and lush landscaping.

Perhaps most tantalizing of all, the property includes a large private beach. Really, what’s not to love?
