Tampa Bay Bucs Coach Dirk Koetter Buys Brand-New Tampa Mansion

It appears things are moving in the right direction for Dirk Koetter and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—so much so that the longtime NFL assistant and first-time head coach is putting down serious roots in the Tampa area.

Koetter, currently in the first year of a five-year contract with the Bucs, recently purchased a brand-new home in Tampa Bay for $2.78 million.

The 5,100-square-foot mansion has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and incredible open bay views. Mahogany beveled-glass doors lead into formal living and dining rooms with insulated vinyl windows, wood baseboards, and crown moldings featuring hand-scraped hardwood floors and solid core doors with egg-shaped glass knobs.

The residence also boasts a spacious kitchen, fireplace, and French doors that lead into a complete outdoor kitchen, featuring a grill, outdoor sink, and beverage center.

The master suite has an adjoining outdoor porch. There are three additional bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet, and a 480-square-foot bonus room completes the upstairs area.

Outside, the estate is rounded out with a 420-square-foot pool and spa, leading to a 100-foot dock.

Koetter joined the Buccaneers in 2015 as their offensive coordinator, after stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons. After Lovie Smith was fired with two seasons left on his contract, Koetter was named Tampa Bay’s head coach—the franchise’s fifth since 2008.
