This Week’s Most Popular Home Is the ‘Full House’ House
Cue the cheesy ’80s-era saxophone. Borrowing words from the theme song from “Full House”—everywhere we looked—people were talking about the listing of a prominent Victorian home in San Francisco late last week.
The exterior of the 1880s home, known as the “Full House” house, is featured on the TV sitcom that just won’t die. The interior of the three-bedroom home listed for $4.15 million is also lovely, although the sitcom’s interiors were shot on a Burbank soundstage. And even though fans know Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen never truly tromped up the steps to the front door, the home has a Facebook page devoted to it, with many smiling tourists posing on the sidewalk.
So it wasn’t a shocker when the home trounced the competition this week when we counted up the clicks on realtor.com®. The sitcom home racked up five times as many views as our runner-up this week, an abnormally large margin in our experience of tracking home buzz.
Aside from the famous abode, you also clicked on the home of the Dallas Cowboys CEO, a New Orleans home set to go up for auction in a couple of weeks, and a cool Mid-Century Modern in Tulsa, OK.

10. 116 S Jefferson St, Waterford, WI
Price: $289,900
Why it’s here: This gorgeous two-story Victorian has an addition made for a buyer who appreciates autos. While the well-maintained house was built in 1897, a detached four-car garage makes this classic home a must-see for car buffs.

9. 7346 S Sleepy Hollow Dr, Tulsa, OK
Price: $449,000
Why it’s here: Designed by architect Donald Honn, this Mid-Century Modern has its cool factor intact. We love the interior stonework and the gorgeous wood ceiling that runs throughout the living and dining spaces. If you’re in the market for a well-preserved MCM, perhaps a trip to the Sooner State is in order.

8. 1 St Petersburg Ct, Rancho Mirage, CA
Price: $9,995,000
Why it’s here: Oakland A’s outfielder Coco Crisp spared no expense in the construction of this decadent desert mansion. The miniature baseball diamond on the nearly 5-acre property has received the most notice since the home hit the market a couple of weeks ago, but we’re fascinated by the enormous pool and grotto area. If a huge pool isn’t enough, you can also kick back by the human-made lake on the grounds.

7. 23751 Liddle St, Brownstown Township, MI
Price: $179,900
Why it’s here: Located just south of Detroit, this four-bedroom home is our bargain pick of the week. At only $84 per square foot, this three-level home is a perfect fit for a family.

6. 301 N Carolwood Dr, Los Angeles, CA
Price: $150,000,000
Why it’s here: California’s most expensive home continues to enchant real estate watchers. While ogling its over-the-top features, consider that the New York Times sounded the alarm on an “overinflated luxury housing market” this week.
———
5. 3880 Clyo Kildare Rd, Clyo, GA
Price: $450,000
Why it’s here: Listing agent Sue Anderson said she’s marketed this 16-acre property on a number of horse-related sites. The nearly brand-new home comes with the accoutrements a horse lover requires, including four stalls, a tack room, and a feed room, she told us. Anderson noted that there are a few other horse properties in this corner of Southeast Georgia, but “they don’t come up very often.”

4. 10711 Strait Ln, Dallas, TX
Price: $32,347,000
Why it’s here: This controversial mansion with an amazing water park has lurked in our top five for three weeks straight now.
———
3. 833 Arabella St, New Orleans, LA
Price: $100,000
Why it’s here: It’s a chance to determine a home’s true value. This house in “a very popular part of uptown New Orleans” is going up for auction, according to broker Francis Braud. The online auction begins on June 18 with an opening bid of $100,000 and offers total transparency to bidders, Braud said. There are no sealed bids, last-minute sniping, or paddles required! He described the online auction as an “efficient way” to sell a home and told us the value of properties in the area ranges from $200,000 to $500,000. Could you score a deal?

2. 3900 Miramar Ave, Highland Park, TX
Price: $11,500,000
Why it’s here: It’s the Dallas-area mansion of Dallas Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones. The son of team owner Jerry Jones has a taste for opulence, as evidenced by the six-bedroom home’s grand open spaces and classic decor. We’d love to spend time in the wood-paneled office, where we assume the Joneses (both father and son) made a few strategic decisions on how to reverse the on-field fortunes of America’s Team.

1. 1709 Broderick St, San Francisco, CA
Price: $4,150,000
Why it’s here: There’s no surprise here: ’80s nostalgia rules! When the Victorian home featured in the credits of “Full House” hit the market last week, we knew it would cause fans of the recently revived sitcom to take a look. And look they did. The link to this home built in 1883 was shared on social media, and the house generated five times as many clicks as our second-place finisher.
