We’ve Wrapped Up Fresh Homes in the 10 Hottest Housing Markets
As we wrap up a notable November and get ready to put a bow on 2016, the housing market shows no signs of post-Thanksgiving fatigue. The median list price of $250,000 hasn’t wavered despite an anticipated seasonal slowdown thanks to the holidays.
Inventory is down compared with last year, but demand for homes remains high—which means we’ve seen prices stay steady. As Javier Vivas, manager of economic research for realtor.com®, said, “waves of buyers intent on entering the market” are still on the hunt for homes.
And if you’re on the prowl in the hottest markets in the country, the hunt can be a true challenge. Our top 10 cities are familiar faces, with half of the metros in the Golden State.
