The 9,000-square-foot Arizona mansion that was once home to both Shaquille O’Neal and Emmitt Smith is on the market again, this time for $4 million.

Smith lived in the luxe digs while playing for the Arizona Cardinals from 2003 to 2005. Shaq called the place home while playing for the Phoenix Suns in 2008 and 2009.

As you’d expect, the home is just as grand as the personalities of these two outsized sports legends. Built in 2002, this five-bedroom, seven-bath, Tuscan-style home sits on 1.8 acres in the Phoenix suburb of Paradise Valley, the wealthiest town in Arizona.

The home has tall ceilings, arched doorways, and marble flooring throughout. The chef’s kitchen is anchored by an impressive center island, custom cabinetry, and a rustic, Spanish-style range hood.

The home was designed for entertaining. It’s anchored by a great room with a two-story stone fireplace, second-story balcony, and large sliding doors that open like an airplane hangar to the backyard.

Just outside the great room, there’s a large gazebo with seating, outdoor bar with flat-panel TV and gas barbecue. Just beyond, there’s a gated pool and spa. At the end of the pool is a second, swim-up gazebo with outdoor fireplace and built-in seating.

Elsewhere inside the house, there’s a wine room, game room with pool table, movie theater, library with floor-to-ceiling built-in bookcases, and gym. The master bedroom has a fireplace and sitting area. The master bathroom features a soaking tub, and the walk-in closet has a four-sided island and washer and dryer. A circular driveway leads to a seven-car garage.

The home was last listed in 2010 for $2.2 million.

Paradise Valley is home to some of Arizona’s most exclusive real estate, with a median list price of $1.8 million. This home is far from the city’s most expensive: There’s a 25,000-square-foot mansion nearby with an asking price of $25 million.
