According to Chicago magazine, the area’s zoning rules allow for these enormous builds. The pricey listing is situated in a section of the city that makes it possible to knock down and build big.

The builders certainly took advantage. No detail is overlooked in the lavish home, which was completed in 2010. Even the ground is fancy: Imported French gravel was used in the front drive court because of its highly desired crunchy sound underfoot, we’re to believe.
